It’s a busy summer in Chicago and property managers are still looking for new business.
But a few of the best property companies are getting ready to offer their services for a change.
“You don’t want to be doing everything,” said Mark Krawczyk, president of Bridgewold Property Company.
“You want to take it one step at a time.”
Property managers say they can offer a wide variety of services.
Krawczyks son is the property manager for a building on the south side of Chicago.
He said he has been able to hire many people and is ready to open up the business to other families in the neighborhood.
“I think we’re doing a really good job,” he said.
“We’re getting a lot of people to the office.
People are coming in.
We’re getting more business.”
Krawcyks son also manages a property in the Loop.
He says he is excited to open his property to people of all backgrounds.
“My biggest concern is we have so many people, so many families and we’re getting older,” he explained.
“I want to give my children a good education and give them a good future.”
Bridgewood, which is part of the Bridgeworth Development Group, has a strong client base.
Many of them live in the community and want to see more businesses in the area.
But some homeowners have expressed concerns about some of the new businesses being opened.KRAWCZYK: “They’re kind of trying to make themselves into a luxury, and it’s really hard to be that way,” said resident Michael Loeppen.
“That’s not what they’re trying to do.”
Loeppens son is a home improvement company manager and has been hired by Bridgewear Properties.
He also owns his own home.
“There’s a lot that people don’t know about, and I think that’s what we’re trying [to] make sure is what you’re looking for,” said Krawczk.
The Bridgewewood Property Co., which has offices in the South Loop and the Loop, is one of the biggest property companies to open this year.
Bridgewield also has offices at the University of Chicago and in Chicago’s South Side.
They are now offering a variety of property management services, including property tax assessments, security deposits, property appraisals, property inspections and a variety.
The company also offers financial planning services, property tax analysis, and legal services.
Bridewood also is getting a boost from the Affordable Housing Administration.
The agency is offering grants to help with construction and renovation of affordable housing, and is offering more than $30 million to help homeowners with their mortgage payments.
“If you look at the fact that we’re opening, I think we’ve been very, very successful, we’ve had a great year, we’re not slowing down, and we want to do it again,” said Bridgewight CEO and President Brian Murgia.
Murgia said that the company plans to continue to hire and grow.
“We have a lot more people than we have in the past,” he added.
“It’s a really, really big business and we have a good group of people and they’ve been incredibly supportive of our vision and we are excited to continue that.”
