‘Truly a nightmare’ for family of ‘ghostly’ woman who died at home

JACKSON, New York (RTE) – A New York family has been left devastated after discovering the remains of their loved one’s ghostly body in their home.

Jackson, New Jersey, police say a woman who was found dead at her home last year was not a ghost.

The body of 19-year-old Kayla Smith, who had recently moved to the area, was found in a basement on May 24, 2017.

The cause of death was not immediately known, but a forensic pathologist said she had been stabbed.

Police are investigating the death as a homicide.

The victim’s parents and siblings were notified, but police say they are not certain who committed the crime.

Police say the woman’s body was discovered in a locked basement on June 4.

She had a stab wound to her neck.

The coroner ruled her death a homicide and said her death was a homicide-suicide.

A family member who had lived in the house for two years told ABC 7 that the girl had lived there for about a month, but the family didn’t notice anything unusual.

The family members, who spoke to ABC 7 on the condition of anonymity, said the girl’s parents had been living with the family for about four years.

They said the woman lived alone, but she also had other children, a brother and sister.

They told ABC7 the girl was a good friend of the family.

The family said they would like to find out what happened to her.
